St. Andrew's

St. Andrew's United Church is located in the commumity of L'Amable, just a five minute drive south of Bancroft. The church began its life in 1881 with a congregation of twenty two families. St. Andrew's has been declared a "Historical Building" in Dungannon Township. Throughout the years, the church has been well maintained. Recent restoration work has been done and new stained glass windows have been added. The church is located on a hill overlooking a valley on the Old L'Amable Road.
There is a very active U.C.W. which meets each month and contributes to various charities within the region.
